Friday...
We are leaving Gold Beach today...
as I type this, Isaac and I are sharing delicious fudge from "The Chocolate Frog Fudge Factory". We went there yesterday....
I now understand the phrase "...like a kid in a candy store"!!! You should have seen Isaac's eyes LIGHT up when he saw all the different kinds of candy! He finally chose a chocolate turtle and a white chocolate turtle for himself...black licorice for Bop and chocolate walnut fudge for me....we had a grand time there and the owner was so impressed with the way Isaac did NOT have the infamous "gimmies" like "most kids have" when they are in her shop!
This week has been lots of fun....lots of work...lots of laughter...lots of moments of "stop that, please, Isaac"....lots of work...lots of laughter...(way more laughter than work, by the way!)...
I wouldn't give you a million dollars for our memories and my prayer is that Isaac will remember this week with the same feeling.
Now we have to start packing to leave. Isaac will miss his friend, Larry and will probably make him another waterfall when he comes to our house...I will make sure, this time, that Bop fires it and we will give the gift to Larry....:)
I am going to miss all the cuddles, spontaneous hugs and kisses, unexpected flowers given to me from a tiny hand...I am going to miss ISAAC RANDAL LYMAN!
We are blessed to be his Bop and Nuck. He makes us feel so special and loves us unconditionally...as we do him.
Thanks again, Ana, Tyler, and Phinneas, for sharing your son and brother with us. We will never forget this week!

What JOY in our journey this week!!!
We are in Gold Beach, Oregon for the week...
always wonderful, always peaceful, always FUN....
but THIS week is different.
You see, this week we have our beautiful grandsonI here with us...
EVERYTHING is a NEW adventure when seen through Isaac's eyes...
and how we are loving the new adventure and how we are loving the laughter (complete with a few scoldings) and how we are loving our time with Isaac. We have missed him.
Thank you Ana, Tyler, and Phinneas for giving us this week with Isaac. We will never forget it nor can anyone take the memories of our first born grandson away from us!
I wish I knew how to post pictures...!
